Students Explore Women’s History

An engaging online session with Mina Mangal inspired students to reflect on the past and present of women’s rights.

Our MV third graders participated in a special online presentation in celebration of Women’s History Month.

We were pleased to welcome Mina Mangal, founder of Diversity Connects, who led an engaging and thought-provoking session on the history of women. Her presentation highlighted the challenges women have faced—and continue to face—as well as the rights they have fought for and continue to advocate for today.

Throughout the session, students were highly engaged, asking thoughtful questions and sharing their own reflections. The interactive format encouraged meaningful dialogue and helped bring the topic to life in an age-appropriate and impactful way.

The presentation offered a valuable opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of equality, perspective, and social responsibility.
