- Welcome to GISSV
  The German International School of Silicon Valley is an independent, nonprofit preschool–grade 12 school with two locations in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Admissions
- Meeting Students’ Needs From Preschool Through High School
  GISSV welcomes students of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We serve students from two to eighteen years old.
- Enrollment
  The enrollment period begins during the months of January and February of each year for the upcoming school year. We also accept new students throughout the school year based on availability. Knowledge of the German language is required for all children who enroll after 1st grade (See also our German Fast Track Program).

Waffle Friday Kicks Off at GISSV San Francisco!

GISSV SF’s new monthly tradition is here — a morning of fresh waffles, teamwork, and community spirit!

GISSV San Francisco hosted its very first Waffle Friday, and what a delightful kickoff it was! One of our classes led the morning fundraiser, and it was wonderful to see students, staff, and parents come together with energy, laughter, and teamwork to make the event fun — and, of course, delicious.

Every last Friday of the month, a different class will take the lead, with all proceeds supporting their class fundraiser goals. This new campus tradition is already bringing our community closer — and giving everyone a sweet way to start the day!
