- Welcome to GISSV
  The German International School of Silicon Valley is an independent, nonprofit preschool–grade 12 school with two locations in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Admissions
- Meeting Students’ Needs From Preschool Through High School
  GISSV welcomes students of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We serve students from two to eighteen years old.
- Enrollment
  The enrollment period begins during the months of January and February of each year for the upcoming school year. We also accept new students throughout the school year based on availability. Knowledge of the German language is required for all children who enroll after 1st grade (See also our German Fast Track Program).

Welcome to our Guest Students from Kiel, Germany

This week, we welcomed guest students from Kiel, Germany, who will be joining our Grades 9 and 10 for a two-week exchange experience at GISSV.

This week, GISSV welcomed a group of guest students from Kiel, Germany, who have arrived in the Bay Area for a two-week exchange program. During their stay, the students will attend classes alongside our 9th and 10th graders and experience everyday school life in California.

In addition to classroom learning, the program includes educational field trips that connect academic content with real-world experiences, offering students a deeper insight into the region and its culture. The exchange reflects GISSV’s commitment to international learning, intercultural exchange, and global perspectives.
