Tutoring Cancellation Policy

Late Starts to Appointments

If a student is late in arriving to tutoring, regardless of the reason, the session will still end on time. 
Cancellations and Rescheduling
If a student needs to cancel for any reason, they are kindly requested to communicate that to the tutor as soon as possible, at least 24 hours ahead of the scheduled appointment. 
Cancellations with Fewer than 24 Hours' Notice

Cancellations or schedule changes with fewer than 24 hours' notice will have 1/2 hour deducted from the customer's purchased tutoring hours, regardless of the length of the appointment.  In the case of illness or emergency, the first occurrence will not have any time deducted, as a one-time courtesy.


"No-shows" are appointments missed by the customer without communication.  In all such cases, the full time of the appointment will be deducted from the customer's tutoring balance. 

Rollovers (Unused Tutoring Hours)

Tutoring hours in the fall that remain unused may be rolled over into the spring semester. However, all tutoring hours must be used by the end of our spring semester, June 1.  Any unused hours as of that date will be forfeit.
