GISSV Summer Camp 2025

Open to Everyone Interested in Learning German!

Join us this summer for a journey filled with learning, growth, and unforgettable memories.

Enrollment is open to current GISSV families and members of the San Francisco and Mountain View communities. Our summer camps are designed to provide enriching experiences for ages 3.6 to 14 and offer something special for everyone. From our immersive German pedagogy tailored for the youngest learners, featuring hands-on projects and outdoor activities, to our signature academic German language classes paired with afternoon fun exploring art, music, science, sport, movement and dozens of other enriching themes, there's an adventure waiting for every child.

The camp is scheduled to run from June 30th to August 1st, 2025, with no sessions on July 4. Full-day programs are available for preschool, kindergarten, elementary, and middle school students, from 9 am to 4 pm. Half-day options are also offered for preschool and kindergarten attendees, from 9 am to 12 pm. Additionally, morning and afternoon extended care is available if needed.

  • No prior German language required.
  • Intermediate and Advanced level classes are designed to meet the needs of our current students and other children fluent in German.

Registration opens on February 1st, 2025

We also invite GISSV High School students to join us as Counselors in Training (CIT), This unique opportunity allows CITs to not only immerse themselves in our educational environment but also gain valuable teaching experience, professional development, leadership skills, and high school community service hours.

The registration deadline is May 31st, 2025. We recognize that summer plans can be fluid. If you'd like to sign up for camp after the deadline, please reach out to the camps team at summercamp@gissv.org to check availability. Note that a late registration fee of 10% will be applicable after June 1st, 2025.
