Courses Overview
Green Energy Engineers (Age 6-10 years)
This camp caters to students aged 6 to 10 and introduces them to fundamental concepts of green energy and its practical applications through hands-on activities. The curriculum covers basic circuits, green energy concepts, kinetic energy conversion, wind power, and batteries. Participants conduct experiments charging batteries with hand cranks and wind power, gaining practical knowledge of sustainable energy. The course culminates in a project where students power miniature cars with green energy, followed by a race to assess circuit efficiency. Throughout the program, students reflect on various green energy sources and integrate them to power circuits, fostering a deep understanding of green energy engineering and sustainable practices.
REV Robotics (Age 8-11 yrs)
This camp caters to students aged 8 to 11 and offers an exciting introduction to the realms of engineering and robotics through Arduinos. Students explore the world of Arduino circuits, robotics, and code! This class is incredible for the hands-on tinkerers and engineers of tomorrow who love to figure out how things work build live robotics projects. We also focus on the code - as students use block code to code their virtual or real Arduinos and bots through challenges and as they wire and code their Arduinos to control motors, lights, sensors and more! students are also led through exciting challenges to further enhance their creations by integrating motors, lights, speakers, claws, sensors, and other components, creating a harmonious blend of coding and hands-on construction.

About CodeREV Kids
CodeREV Kids Tech Camps provide a one-of-a kind camp experience for campers. Our camps are a wonderful way for campers to spend a week or several weeks out of the summer and school holidays learning important technology skills while having a fun-packed time that will create memories that last a lifetime.
With a healthy mix of project-based coding, programming or digital art, design, teamwork building activities off the computer, and outdoor games and activities in the park, our Tech Camps provide a perfect mix of fun, education, and life-skill building to keep each student motivated, having fun, and learning what they can't learn in school.
CodeREV Kids was born out of a desire to fill a need in education, a need to provide a true, comprehensive technology education in a fun, stress-free environment. Our STEM focused courses and tech camps provide the basis for a much deeper education in technology than what students receive at their schools. This is because our instructors are all both industry tested STEM and computer programming professionals, and because these instructors have gained a wealth of teaching experience to kids in STEM, Technology, and Coding in various formats.
Our Tech/Coding classes and camps are all project-based, which means students are applying computational thinking to each coding skill they learn and are using the highest level processing skills as identified by the Common Core for true comprehension of the material they are learning to use and apply. Further, CodeREV Kids is supported by education and technology experts out of the Harvard Graduate School of Education and the MIT Media Lab, so it is a perfect synthesis of education and STEM. This is evidenced through CodeREV's amazing STEM and TECH Coding Camps and After School Classes.
Our staff are true experts in their fields, and in teaching. They have served as teachers and mentors for a minimum of 1 year, but most have taught for 3+ years. Their passions lie in technology and in passing their wisdom off to others. In addition to teaching experience, of course, everyone at CodeREV is fully background checked, fingerprinted, and most also possess CPR training and certification.
