Preschool-12 Dual Language Education in
Two Locations in the Bay Area

Elementary School Camp MV: Age 6 - 9

Our camp for kids who have completed 1st Grade by the summer and up blends classroom study of the German language in the morning with engaging activities in the afternoon.

Morning German classes are separated into language level groups with max. 12 students and one teacher. In the classroom, instructors teach in German exclusively, no matter the level of German.

Afternoon Activities are held in the same class setting this year with max. 12 students and a teacher and are likely to be outdoors. Activities are exciting, active, and social, and offer a "lived" experience of German. Instructors speak mostly German, with a sprinkling of English to ensure everyone can follow along.

Our camp is a two week-long or multi-week intensive immersive German environment that brings students closer to the language and culture, and to their peers who share a connection with or interest in German.

European Travelers
Europe is a diverse continent. Our adventure goes through Italy, France, Germany and Austria and we will explore the geography, history and culture of each country along the way. We will travel with handmade maps and passports and will have hands-on fun with country-specific crafts.

Let´s Dance
A great way to shake it out! Students will dance to German pop songs and help develop choreography. Dancers will perform for their fellow students during Friday lunches.

Textile Design
Experiment with textile materials such as fabric, wool and yarn, and learn how to crochet, felt, knit, sew, weave and braid! Projects include sewing stuffed animals, decorating T-shirts, and different friendship bracelets.

Fashion and Jewelry Design

We will work with all kinds of materials to make hats, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and anything else you design! Students will learn to sketch and problem-solve their ideas before making them into something they can wear.

Mad Scientist
Science plays an important role in helping children explore and understand the world around them. In this hands-on class, we will be learning about biology, chemistry and physics by conducting experiments, observing our environment and recording our results.

Acrylic Painting
Acrylic painting on canvas opens up your hidden talents in capturing nature. Kids learn to see a picture out of a different perspective, think abstractly and be precise in detail. With simple paintbrush strokes, kids can create a finished artwork. We also learn about great artists like Picasso and Dalí, and discuss the reasons for their work.

Zumba Dance & Culture
Zumba® Kids features kid-friendly routines based on original Zumba® choreography. We break down the steps, add games, activities and cultural exploration elements into the class structure. During the class, kids get the chance to be active and jam out to their favorite music. Giving children an outlet to jump, dance, shake, and swing their hips, it’s the perfect recipe for fitness fun.

Yoga & Meditation

Learn basic yoga poses in a playful way. Yoga practice is complemented by relaxation and meditation, and lots of fun games and group exercises that build balance, concentration, and body awareness.

Little Architects
Design and build a collaborative miniature city out of cardboard and all kinds of junk! We will learn vocabulary for all city landmarks and discuss urban life.

Latin American Dances
Collaborate on fun choreographies, and learn the basics of salsa, cha-cha-cha & co. Even with ballroom dance, the emphasis is always on enjoying the movement and fun exercise.

Sports & Games
Get active with all kinds of German Games and Activities—from Völkerball, Fußball and Basketball to Topfschlagen and Ochs am Berg, this is traditional outdoor fun and “Sport” just like in Germany!
